🌐 March 2026 Tabantaabo Foundations Drought Response Report.
In response to the drought affecting the Horn of Africa, Tabantaabo Foundation, in collaboration with the Al Kheyria Diaspora Group and community partners in Kenya, carried out emergency relief efforts for families impacted by the crisis.
While Al Kheyria and Kenya community members distributed food rations, the Tabantaabo Foundation focused on providing direct emergency cash assistance to families in Puntland, Somalia, and the Somali Region of Ethiopia, with an emphasis on supporting access to water.
The total funds raised for this effort were approximately $44,000, of which Tabantaabo Foundation contributed $15,000 toward emergency cash support, benefiting a combined 791 drought-affected families in Puntland, Somalia, and the Somali Region of Ethiopia.
We thank all those who donated, as well as our partners and community members, for making this humanitarian effort possible.
